Vocal Links Host a Musical Evening at St Peters Church.

Vocal Links hosted a musical evening on Sunday 26th January at St Peters Church. The audience were very pleased with the high standard of musicianship and the variety of musical performances. These included Vocal Links ladies harmony singing group (musical director, Chris Smith); soloists: Lisa Statham (soprano), Rosamund Malyon ('cello) accompanied by Eileen Borrill; Viv King (recorder); Tim Mackintosh-Smith (organ);

Tim and brother Robin Smith also played piano duets, and both accompanied the various performances.

 Thanks are due to the churchwardens of St Peters for allowing the use of this magnificent venue; we (Vocal Links) are very fortunate to be able to use the church for rehearsals.

Proceeds from the concert have gone towards the purchase of a portable piano and amplification to enable us to be more mobile, and not rely on the varied qualities of village hall pianos.
