VILLAGE HALL NEWS - October AGM Report

The annual general meeting of the Saltfleetby Village Hall Committee was held recently, and sad to say only two members of the public were in attendance.
As the rules dictate, the old committee have to resign, and a new committee is then elected.

This was done and the new committee consists of the following Elected Officers: -
Mrs. D. Tait. Chairperson. Mrs. C. Henderson. Vice Chairperson. Mr. G. C. Vickers. Treasurer. Mrs. Maxine McCormick. Secretary.
Committee Members: - Mrs. E. Vickers, Mrs. Denise Read. Mr. A. Humberstone. Mrs. B. Tait.
 

The treasurer reported that the Old Village Hall account had a balance of £1,000, and having just heard that the “Drop In” club has disbanded, and the Thursday evening dance class has closed, we are looking for other groups to make use of the hall and generate some revenue towards the upkeep of this very important village facility.
 

Fund raising for the new village hall has gone well over the past year and that account stands at £5,929
The committee have several fund raising events in mind for the coming year, the next one being a “Bingo” session on Sunday 28th Nov.
