Bert Richardson - 3rd row, 3rd from the left remembers: -

 

The Local Head Quarters - Prussian Queen (this was closed and taken over by the military) attached to Kenwick hall.

They spent days on manoeuvres, rifle range, drills & HQ

Bert was a reserve Dispatch Rider (military motorbike – Royal Enfield) and travelled from village to village – each village had it's own meeting place, P.Q. was Headquarters.
