I am grateful to Colin Vickers for the information below: -

* Miss Dorothy Standaloft started her education at Saltfleetby School in 1905. In 1914 she became a Monitoress at the school and in 1920 she started to teach the Infant class, a position she held until her retirement in 1960. She then became a school governor until 1974. Total: -  69 years as Pupil, Teacher and Governor.
